About the Author


Award-winning indie author Mary Martinez is a vital pillar of our regional writing community. Residing in Magna, just west of Salt Lake City, Mary works directly with local creators by conducting a regular writing group at the Magna Library, offering a welcoming space for writers to hone their craft and share their journeys. She has dedicated years to lifting up fellow authors, serving as a workshop presenter, conference coordinator, and former Chapter President for the Utah Chapter of the Romance Writers of America (RWA)—an organization that honored her with its outstanding service award.


When she isn't crafting high-stakes suspense or sweeping love stories, Mary is living life to the absolute fullest. She and her husband are massive live music fans, packing their warmer months with as many outdoor amphitheater concerts as possible. They are also enthusiastic college football fans who hold University of Utah season tickets and can be found tailgating before every single UTES game. Mary is a proud mother of six grown children and a grandmother to eleven. An avid traveler, her adventures from the sunny Caribbean to the vineyards of Italy and the historic green hills of Ireland constantly find their way onto her pages, painting rich, transportive backdrops for her characters.
